The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
